Every year the Sec 2s will have a Family Night event in school where they will invite their families to come to school to see performances put up by the class. During our T-shirt design assignment, some of the students chose to design T-shirts for the event. Here are some of the interesting ones.

Tablet drawing

Great to see so many comments contributed by you readers in the past few days. I hope more and more of you will become more enthusiastic and willing to put forward your views here so that I can make the site more interesting for you.

Coming next week, all the Sec 2s will finally have the chance to use the Tablet PCs that the school was recently acquired. And we will be using the digital painting software ArtRage so that you will have an opportunity to experience what painting on the computer feels like.

I would encourage all of you to download the free starter version of their ArtRage software and try it out for yourself. They have versions for both Windows and Mac. And the best thing is that the free version is not time-limited in any way so that you can keep using it again and again. The free version of ArtRage is powerful enough for you to paint like a professional.

MGS ROCs2 T-shirt Design is OUT!

Congratulations! This is the winning design from Lim Jia Le of 2E! Miss Tay also helped to touch up the graphics for printing as well.

You can look forward to seeing this t-shirt in school very soon!

P.S. Part of the design is also credited to Izati of 2E as well! Well done Izati!

Some updates

This account is already bursting my storage quota. So before anyone here is also thinking of hosting a gallery like mine, please go with the knowledge that all these pictures takes up ton of storage. Very soon I either have to upgrade my account to the next level or find a new webhost or move out my gallery to smugmug. Most likely I will find a webhost with a bigger storage option.

The recently concluded abstract painting assignment for the Sec 2s was one of the most interesting assignments I started this year and from the feedback I received from the classes, it seems that they agree that they enjoyed the abstract painting assignment the best. Prior to this, I have never thought that the students will be ready for abstract art at their age but I am very happy I was proven wrong.

I have uploaded my final batch of abstract paintings (and some outdoor school paintings done earlier).
