Mix a tape

I guess the concept of mixing a tape is lost among the readers here…

The idea of a mixtape when normal people were still using cassette tapes was that music junkies will spend their whole evenings trying to cram 12 specially selected songs into cassette tapes, which is then distributed to good friends and company from time to time to share the same music vibe. So there will likely be different mixtapes done for different listeners and moods to match.

mrbrown was very excited about this new muxtape.com website on his blog and he is trying to get everyone to check out his new mixtape. It isn’t too bad so go check it at mrbrown.muxtape.com.

Quit school to become singers?

How many of you will be willing to quit school to become singers?

According to Alvinology, the recent Singapore Chinese music pop sensation wannabe, BY2, quit their Secondary 3 studies last year to pursue their singing dreams in Taiwan. Part of the controversy stems from the fact that they have to lie to their teachers and the school when they submitted their drop-out letter.

I hope none if you will feel that you need to lie to me if you have to do such a thing.

So the question is again, would you give up your studies to become a pop star? Please vote on the right!
