Well Matchbox Twenty is not exactly bleeding edge but I like their new single “How Far We’ve Come” quite a bit. While you might have seen the official MTV (which is not too bad, just find it anywhere online), I think this video cover of the song on Youtube does a much better job for the song. While the original video is more optimistic and upbeat, this version is totally dark and totally true.
This will be my last post until I return from Japan. Ja mata ne!
Here I am almost done. Almost because I cannot remember some details, like where did we have lunch in Dresden and a few other things. If any of you spots any mistake on the map, kindly let me know so that I can make it better. Thanks!
P.S. I find tracking down all the rest stops along the trip very interesting. Unfortunately I don’t think my first rest stop marker is correct. The final rest stop in Czech republic is also lost to me since the satellite photos there are not updated. Help me see if you can spot any mistakes.
Yup I am back! For those who didn’t know, I went with one of the Sec 3 Sabbatical group to Eastern Europe.
It was a 10 day trip, and we went to Munich, Salzburg, Ingolstadt, Nuremburg, Prague, Dresden, Potsdam and Berlin. Given such a tight itinerary, we were almost on the go all the time and there weren’t really any time to cover the cities in any detail. Nevertheless, I am sure this trip has provided those who went an invaluable opportunity to see and experience more the the greater world out there. On the other hand, I am sure many of the students who went are well-heeled travellers themselves so I hope they have gotten out something useful from this short sabbatical.
I have uploaded all the group photos here in my gallery so you can see all of them there.
I have uploaded a few other non group photos on my Zooomr account. Since this time round I was more in taking videos of the trip, I didn’t have so many photographs as usual. I will be working on the video over December to be ready for January presentation.
P.S. We visited the Audi factory in Ingolstadt where we saw the production of the Audi A3, A4 and TT models. I just found that there is a short video of the Audi Factory tour on Youtube in German! Well for those who missed it and for those who want to remember it better, here it is.
