Teachers' Day

Hahahaha! Thank you everyone for your wonderful presence! That what really matters. I had lots of fun, I hope you had a good laugh, it is all for world peace, and joy for everyone!

P.S. By the way, in order to view the original size image, you need to register for a free account with Flickr.com!

You have come far

Posted by kifo on August 30th, 2006

I walked ten thousand miles, ten thousand miles to see you,
And every gasp of breath I grabbed at just to find you,
I climbed up every hills to get to you,
I wandered ancient lands to hold just you.

And every single step of the way of pain,
Every single night and day,
I searched for you.
Through sandstorms and hazy dawns I reached for you.

- The Sore Feet Song, Ally Kerr

For all the Sec 2s who have come this far together, for many this art examination will be your last, I thank you so so much for everything you have done. You deserved to be proud of what you have achieved.

P.S. I have updated the Self Portrait gallery.

Listening Room

Magritte is a one of the great painters that loves to play games with our visual perceptions and cognitive understanding with absurb imagery.  This is one of his popular painting - The Listening Room.

Using this painting as our reference, the Sec 3 students painted an apple each on Thursday within the 3 hours. Have an apple too!

I know most of you have seen these around in the art room or in the library but I finally got round to putting them online!

You can see the rest of the paintings in the gallery on the right.

Mee Siam Mai Hum

Who ever says our PM and his political party is unhip?

It is high time our PM gives himself some credit! I mean, which Prime Minister do you know who actually *digs* Black Eye Peas?

Our favourite Singaporean blogger, mrbrown aka Mr Lee Kin Mun, whom PM Lee referred to as "a very talented man," has put on his creative hat again to reveal this mostly unknown quality of our dear PM. On mrbrownshow.com, mrbrown has done his analysis on the recent NDP Rally speech by our PM Lee in "a harmless podcast." Go listen to it now! You might be so amazed that you can’t close your mouth later!

P.S. mrbrown constantly amazes me with his creativity. Of course PM Lee was referring to the famous Bak Chor Mee podcast that has been downloaded million of times on the internet.

P.P.S. Some clever guy has converted it into a ringtone!! Hahaha!
